The Bespoke process
Ordering a bespoke piece of jewellery can be both exciting and a bit overwhelming, especially if it's your first time. To make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible, I’ve outlined the steps below. This guide is designed to help you understand each phase of creating your custom piece and ensure a supportive and enjoyable experience as we collaborate to bring your vision to life.

Different types of bespoke project:
Fully Bespoke
Jewellery
A unique piece of jewellery completely tailored to your needs. I will source all stones and materials for you.
For fully bespoke projects the minimum spend for this is £1000.
Recycled or
repurposed
We can collaborate on a project using a stone you already own or transform a sentimental piece of jewelry that you'd like to recycle, adapt, or modernise.

Customised

Modifications to existing collection pieces, including engraving, color changes, and other adjustments.
Sculptural
art-pieces
Innovative projects: Whether it's a sculptural headpiece, a unique body adornment, or a striking art piece for your home, we’ll bring your dream project to life.

01
Please email stephaniechloebila@gmail.com with the details of your bespoke enquiry.
Please include the following information: your preferred materials, deadline, maximum budget and context. The more details the better so we can tailor the design to your vision.
03
Design Deposit
At this stage I will take a design deposit of £200. I will work out a series of design options for you based on the design brief and our consultation. This fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your final payment.

The designs will then be sent to you in a PDF ready for feedback.
02
Initial Consultation
In our initial design consultation, we’ll clarify your requirements and discuss materials, inspiration, and context to establish a framework for your design brief. The meeting can be conducted in person, via Zoom, or over the phone. Please bring any images or creative references if you have any.
04
Design brief
We’ll review the designs together, and I’ll make any necessary adjustments at this stage. Once finalised, I will send you the completed design brief, including all the details, the final price, and an estimated lead time.
05
Design Sign off
Once the final design is approved by you, I will request a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total design cost. This deposit is used to purchase materials and begin Stage 6 of the process.
07
Quality Control
Once the piece is finished, I will review it to ensure it meets the design brief.
06
Craftsmanship and production
Once the design is approved, I will either collaborate with some of London’s most skilled craftsmen or personally craft your piece. You may receive updates from me during this stage if necessary.
08
Final Payment
Once completed, I will elegantly package your design in my luxury packaging. After receiving the final payment, I will contact you to arrange either collection or delivery.
